Miranda Cosgrove’s "Raining Sunshine" Video

Follow us- Twitter.com Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here for ClevverTV with a look at Miranda Cosgrove’s new music video for her track « Raining Sunshine. » The reigning princess of Nickelodeon might be giving her Disney counterparts a run for their money with the new song, which was recorded for the soundtrack of « Cloudy with Chance of Meatballs. » The new vid made its big debut during a quick break from Cosgrove’s Emmy-nominated show « iCarly. » And, Maybe because this song and video come are inspired by a movie, they are little more, shall we say, mainstream- compared to the more rocker chic stuff we’ve seen from her in the past. The new video is really cute though, and it’s interesting how it mixes in some animation from the movie. So, does this video stand a chance against the competition? According to Miranda-there is absolutely NO rivalry between her and the Disney girls. In fact they all hang out. Miranda seems like such a sweet, easy-going gal. She said that making this video was just a lot of fun. She got to listen to music all day and sing and dance around, WHICH she doesn’t get to do too much on iCarly. « Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs » will hit US theaters on September 18th. The animated film, which focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain, will also star the voices of Anna Faris, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg.
