@kennygee90 before callin someone dumb, consider that maybe youre the one who doesnt understand his references. Rockafella(not Rockefeller) is a guy that Jay-Z named his label after. he died of AIDS.
the karate reference is about Jay-Z claiming his does Tae-Bo( in one of his songs)
and the dame dummy reference is about how p diddy running Biggie is like damon dash(dame dummy, and so owner of rockefella) pulling the strings on Jay. sorry i just had to hoe you with some knowledge

  4. kennygee90 dit :

@3194shi « Red necks and slaves » really where are you getting this little misinformed idea from? Are there documents to support that Hip Hop was started in the 17th-18th century? No,I didn’t think so, Hip Hop was originated from Blues and Jazz which is from the 20th century. I wasn’t implying that whites/Latinos haven’t contributed to Hip Hop, but don’t forget the originators, which are Black American. And I have a hunch that you’re an idiot, but we won’t press on that matter.

@soldierttown Eminem like many other whiter rappers before him, are praised so highly because he is white and can through a few references about his dick around and white guys will go crazy, they think « hey his just like us, I can relate to wanting to kill my mother too ». His has talent, I’m not disputing that, but I wouldn’t put him on any list of being one of the best MC’s.

I think this is the answer who is the king of Hip-Hop at this moment

  21. bubbles500 dit :

I for one like BOTH Jay and Nas!

@40kouba40 Its like talking to a brick wall with you. Just stop, your distorted opinion will never sway me, just like my opinion won’t with you. However I’ll try again! Hip Hop in its original form was and still isn’t about how many GQ(really?) magazines or billboard charts you can get your name on. As I told you time and time again its about the music and how it resonates with a person on a intellectual and meaningful level.

How did Nas fall off? Please don’t say « It’s because he is not popular or don’t have record sales » – I hate how people are so fixated on Mainstream Hip Hop and if you don’t so sell as much as you used to or haven’t been mainstream « you fell off » or « not relevant ». Personally I judge Artists on the music and if anything the most of the mainstream industry has « fell off » because the quality.

As if people are tweeting Nas vs Jay-Z. Jay-Z is a legend but he dumbed down to sell, so Nas is better.

R.I.P Big L btw.. They took Lamont way too early

RageBarz is the definition of a tru hiphop fan.. It takes alot to admit another guy is better than your favorite.. I’m an esco fan and I think he is better than jay but at the same time I won’t dump on jay cuz he was necessary for the game and left a huge mark on it.. Respect for the vets period.. One luv for both. It comes with being grown up and seein the big picture
