It’s Christmas Eve in New York City, and with a little help from each other, five people will discover a new meaning to their lives on Christmas Day. Rose is spending the holidays at a nursing home where her mother is deep in the clutches of Alzheimer’s. Despite her own tragic circumstances, Rose shows genuine compassion toward others; whether it’s the abandoned mysterious patient across the hall, or the desperate fiancée, Nina who broke her engagement to her beloved Mike because of his suffocating jealousy. In subplots soon to collide, Rose discovers new hope as Charlie — an unexpected friend – reminds her that no one is ever truly alone at Christmas.
