Elkhorn Slough Wireless 2004
In the spring of 2004 Henrik Kibak, Jotham Fisher-Smith, and Kenton Parker set up a solar-powered 802.11b network that covered large areas of the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve. The project was funded through a WeTEC and US Department of Education grant administered by Arlene Krebs and Cindy Lopez.
