This is the original trailer for Neil LaBute’s undisputed masterpiece « The Wicker Man ». It was rejected by the studio and re-cut to be more « extreme ». What a shame, because this trailer is much more honest about the tone and theme of the film.(you know, the theme of yelling profanity at children and beating women)

I just cant see a movie of Nicolas cage,Angelina jolie or Ben affleck,i dont know why,but those actors are like the perfect mix for a shitty movie.

@drops1234321 Yeah, that crossed my mind too, so I sat there in my bedroom pondering this MYSTERY for 24 hours and finally I truly believe I’ve worked it out… he uses HAIR DYE.
It’s that or he has employed the magical Hollywood fairies who are also responsible for keeping Meryl Streep looking 39… still not decided.

  3. Bleumange dit :

@yafser I’d accept that insult humbly if it made sense. Either way, your argument of praising any Nic Cage film pre-2000 except kick-ass, is condemnable.

  4. yafser dit :

    @Bleumange You’re a AIDS of Monkey race.

  5. Bleumange dit :

    @yafser you’re a plague to humanity.

  7. 27yohana dit :

unfortunately he is looking older than he is..

  8. marcusduck dit :

He’s got a very unique way of speaking that I just can’t describe why.

  9. bono300vox dit :

haters gonna hate, nicolas cage is such a great actor (with some shity films…)

  10. SinisterSkyline dit :

@yafser It’s because a lot of people and critics expected him to become another Marlon Brando or Johnny Depp, cause he did « Moonstruck », « Honeymoon in Las Vegas » and « Leaving Las Vegas » and they were all performances that were more than great, they were different to what anybody had seen, he brought a new perspectives and a new angle to films and the critics feel their expectations were betrayed and feel dissapointed when he does a summer blockbuster instead of oscar contender films

@SuperRandomStupidity HAHAHAHA Youtube comments never make me lol but that one did. Nick is a crazy man.

  12. lochyes dit :

How do ppl not cast him as a maniac in films? Everytime i watch him act i think that guy is crazy and unpredictable. Maybe he’s been in some roles like that but i just havent seen those movies. Looks like it would come natural to him. Crazy eyes.

Did he draw that goatee on?

  17. l3awl3ag dit :

Although saying that.. Whilst some of the films he’s gone for have had seriously shit writing, and that some would argue that he makes poor choices in which films he auditions for, I have to respect the way that he just seems to go for films that HE likes the look of. He doesn’t seem to give a shit if it will be successful or not. If a role interests him even a little, he just seems to go for it and gives it his all. I think that’s pretty cool, no other actors do that.

  18. oeyesea dit :

Actually I think the original Wickerman movie sucked too. Not that this version of the Wickerman doesn’t suck, it really does suck, but it is kind of a complicated artistic prat fall, while getting the ol’ shlong caught in the zipper, then falling into a pile of dog shit. You wouldn’t want to be doing it but since it’s happening to somebody else you laugh your ass off.

  19. plm123456123 dit :

This movie sums up what happened to his career as an actor. Suprised he didn’t win an emmy showing the amazing and spectacular story of his life as a metaphor.

  20. Sarasirk531 dit :

For some reason, I found myself humming « Smack My Bitch Up » halfway through this video. I have no idea why.

  21. arcotroll dit :

@MrKevkev240 « The Wickerman » it is a bad remake of a far superior older british film.

  22. Arathlo dit :

Why is a white man playing Chris Brown? I’m so confused.

  23. newtonisaacma dit :

    epic!

  28. oeyesea dit :

If you ever loved a movie for its stupidity, this is one.

  29. TweetyAffect dit :

@driprat *Wipe tear from eye* I wish to go out that way.

  30. 2010Barbon dit :

They should burn the director of this shit in a huge wicker man for real for creating this shameful « movie ».
