tough year for nadal, but he has proven over the years that hes a warrior. im sure he comes up with an answer 2012.

@SteveBywaters WHY WOULD NADAL TANK? He seems to enjoy the game and he loves to win. So you really believe Nadal tanked. Seems odd that he would ever tank a game, he enjoys the :WIN: While I was watching this match, he was pulling his shorts as usual, pumped his fist as usual and made the usual noises with his mouth, you know the uhnn, uhnn uhnn. He sound so sincere as if he wanted to win. Well, goes to show you, you can never tell whats on a persons mind UNLESS he tells you.

  5. IRS20071 dit :

    @worksopians lol, I wonder why.

  6. IRS20071 dit :

This is great, really beautiful. Did anyone notice how Jason Goodall commented during the first and sets as to how great Nadal was. But, in the third set, Jason Goodall never opened his mouth at all. Sheer silence. Sheer silence. Perhaps he was in shock.

@worksopians is your name nadal? go back and read my comment

  8. superteacher1000 dit :

@SteveBywaters Still disagree regarding the tanking, but agree with you on the rest. It’s all about what happens in Murray’s mind. If he could just grab a slam, then I think he will be unstoppable. He’s far more talented than Djokovic, Nadal and even Fed. But he wastes energy on berating himself all the time.

  9. SteveBywaters dit :

@superteacher1000 I think Nadal did tank this but I take what u say about murray. Hes more talented than any of the top players and they all know it but on the mental level he is bereft, no self belief whatsoever and is therefore wifelet to the mentally stronger more dominant Federer,Djoko,Nadal. But talent wise yes I have to agree he’s a cut above. As Djokovic once said If ever he gets his mind right its thank u and goodnight.

  10. CeruleanTwist dit :

@Sessylius I would love to NOT see Djokovic dominance. I want Murray, Del Potro, and even Federer to have a great year.

WTF HOW CAN YOU 6-0 NADAL WTF

  12. CASPER10666 dit :

    Cracking game Andy……..bagal Nadal…….ouch

  13. superteacher1000 dit :

@SteveBywaters If you believe Nadal tanked this then you obviously have no idea about what it takes to be a top tennis player. What has made Nadal into the legend that he has become is the fact that he detests losing to anyone. Just accept that Murray outplayed him. When Murray is at 100%, he can beat anyone, including Djokovic at his best. The problem with Murray is that he hasn’t managed it yet when it really matters – in a slam. But it will come.

  18. manco82 dit :

I love how Roger kept pounding Nadal’s backhand on that first break point, just relentless. He essentially Nadaled Nadal.

  19. TlesBea1 dit :

    I love you Fedddddd <3!

  20. trannynan dit :

@MrWalto69 he is injured now sadly!

  21. ZimmermanTelegram dit :

1:10 He’s barely getting it over the net,

  22. kwnstantinak96 dit :

They say that Nadal is a very fast runner,
I say he couldn’t even see Federer’s serves!!!

  23. SirVetje dit :

@Ryan81M exactly, that’s why the H2H doesn’t always say something between 2 top tennis players.

  24. ImmortalCyrax dit :

Why do i feel that Nadal is always sad …. and Federer is depressed?

  25. PaldinX4 dit :

@MrWalto69 Not only that, he is playing more aggressive, especially when he is returning his opponent’s serve.

  26. athull08 dit :

@sam250505 which makes it an even greater win for Federer, as this so-called hard court played more like a clay court

  27. 9891sasha dit :

I really don’t think Nadal played badly; Federer simply didn’t allow Nadal to play once he found his rhythm. When your opponent hits half-volleys like at 5:18, there’s not much you can do. Federer had all the answers in this match just like Nadal at the French open 2008.

  28. sam250505 dit :

Wow this court has been slowed down so much! Brilliant win by Federer anyways! This was a massacre!
